Diamond Custom Homes today announced that construction is underway for a new spec home project on Putter Point Drive in the Moorings.
The two-story, coastal estate will exemplify modern design aesthetics. It is designed by architect Karen Velasco-Carter of Diamond Custom Homes, with interior design by Adriene Ged of EDGE and landscape architecture by Outside Productions Inc.

The interiors will offer a light, modern, coastal design style with light-stained white oak wood, stone porcelain tile, rattan and cane. Neutral tones and blue accents, clean lines, natural materials and textures will combine to create calm, relaxed and sun-soaked ambiance. Exterior features will include a metal roof and glass panel garage doors.
At the entrance will be a two-story foyer and a floating staircase leading to a spacious great room, dining room, kitchen, bar, and wine room. The first-floor master suite will feature dual walk-in closets, vanities and water closets, and master bath with dual linen closets, a makeup vanity and a dresser. Four guest bedrooms will be located on the second living level. The great room will connect to the covered outdoor living area, with a full kitchen, entertainment areas, sun deck and spa. A stone clad three-car garage will offer exterior and interior design contrast. The home will encompass 7,475 total square feet and is scheduled for completion in Fall 2025.
