Luxury homebuilder Diamond Custom Homes announced the completion of a second-story residential addition in Quail West Golf and Country Club. The project breathed new life into an existing 2015-built home, increasing its functionality and improving its aesthetic appeal to align with modern lifestyle needs.
The renovation was driven by the client’s desire to expand the living space to accommodate more guests, particularly during family visits. The home originally consisted of a single-story residence with a two-car garage.
Under the direction of Diamond Custom Homes Director of Architectural Services Karen Velasco-Carter, the team created a new addition over the garage which includes two bedrooms, baths and lounge space.

In addition to the second-story addition, the project also included renovating the residence’s kitchen and master suite. The master bedroom was extended to create an office nook. The master bath, which originally had one long vanity with two sinks and a car wash-like shower, was reconfigured to feature his-and-her vanities on opposite sides, with the tub on one side of the bathroom and the shower on the opposite side.
Key features and finishes of the revamped home include hardwood floors, natural stone countertops, crystal embedded light fixtures and custom furniture, all contributing to its distinctive charm and character.
