Diamond Custom Homes announced the beginning of construction for its latest luxury spec home at 3235 Regatta Road, located in The Moorings neighborhood. This residence, the second of three planned projects in the area, follows the progression of construction for the builder’s first spec home on Putter Point. The project is slated for completion in spring 2026.
Karen Velasco-Carter, director of architectural services for Diamond Custom Homes, is the architectural designer for the project. EDGE Interior Designer Belle Fortte will curate the interiors. This two-story home will span 7,586 square feet, featuring five bedrooms, five full baths, two half-baths and a generously sized outdoor living area. Notable design elements will include a modern recessed frieze band detail at the garage, decorative horizontal reglets and a striking two-story entry with a floating staircase. Unique exterior materials, such as Norstone Platinum Lavastone cladding on the entry columns and NewTech wood European Belgian board for the elevator wall, will add dimension and contrast, enhanced by impact-resistant black windows and doors.
The covered outdoor living spaces will offer separate areas for seating and dining, each thoughtfully designed to support Southwest Florida’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle. A built-in fireplace, outdoor kitchen with a large island and sliding glass pocket doors will allow for an indoor-outdoor flow from the great room and dining room. Indoors, the home will feature a modern organic style blending minimalism, mid-century and contemporary elements with natural textures and a neutral color palette. The open kitchen will be highlighted by custom cabinetry by EDGE, and the great room will have a custom-built media wall. The first-floor master suite will include dual walk-in closets and private access to the outdoor living area.
