Luxury homebuilder Diamond Custom Homes has announced the promotion of Karen Velasco-Carter to the position of Director of Architectural Services.
In this position, Velasco-Carter serves as an in-house architect, responsible for all architectural design drawings and permitting for the remodeling division. Velasco-Carter has 20 years of industry experience, including tenure as an architectural designer for two prominent local design studios. She has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from San Buenaventura University, is an AIA associate and a certified general contractor. Velasco-Carter joined Diamond Custom Homes in 2015 as cabinet designer and architectural coordinator.
