Diamond Custom Homes names Chris Batchelor Vice President of Operations

Michael Diamond, president of Diamond Custom Homes, today announced the appointment of Chris Batchelor as Vice President of Operations.

Batchelor, a seasoned construction industry executive with more than 30 years of residential and commercial experience, will oversee all of Diamond Custom Homes’ construction operations including new construction, remodeling, warranty service, estate management, and its cabinetry division, with accountability for each division’s customer satisfaction, and profit and loss. He will be integral in providing leadership and management of the construction staff, managing execution of Diamond Custom Homes’ strategic vision and goals; developing and enforcing policies and procedures; serving as a mentor for subordinates, and upholding the company’s core values.

“Chris’ extensive range of construction experience, both in the corporate arena and as an entrepreneur, makes him a great fit for our company,” said Diamond. “He will be a valuable asset to our teams and our continued growth.”

Batchelor is a state-certified general contractor in Florida and Tennessee, and studied business administration at Arizona State University. Prior to owning his own construction company, he worked with national homebuilders and developers, and also with companies in the oil and gas industry. He enjoys the outdoors, sports, traveling, and spending time with family.
